BILINGUAL PROJECT (PHYSICAL EDUCATION)

 In recent years English has become essential in our education and in our world. Many schools are changing their programs for new bilingual projects, and one of the subjects that could be taught in English is physical education.

That’s one of the reasons why I am preparing myself some contents in English for the students. I have teached for several years in different bilingual high schools where I  introduced contents in English in Secondary and 1º Bachillerato related to PE.

In this area as a techer of PE you can try to review contents, vocabulary, games, articles, everything related with physical education in bilingual projects. The first thing is something that we are working on in first part of the class: body parts and warming up. In our lessons, I always try to do the same routines in English so that students learn things in an easy way. One of these routines is warming up and cool down, and we usually talk about the body parts and muscles that we are using. 

In the main part of the class we teach some contents about individual, team and alternative sports. We also practice some sports, games and workouts related to body lenguage, physical fitness and environment.

Relación entre las TIC y EF

          Soy Profesor de Educación Física desde el año 2008. Cada año pasan por mis clases más de 200 alumnos con caracterísiticas muy heterogéneas y particularidades muy dispares. Pero con el paso de los años me he dado cuenta que todos tienen las mismas inquietudes en lo que respecta a la materia de Educación Física y a las Nuevas Tecnologías. Están "locos" por utilizar el móvil, la tablet, aplicaciones, herramientas digitales... en definitiva nuevas formas de trabajar los contenidos de EF, pero de una manera más atractiva,motivadora... más acorde a estos tiempos actuales de hoy en día.

          En definitiva, esto le lleva a uno a replantearse cada año nuevas formas de trabajar. Y que mejor forma de hacerlo que actualizarse con charlas,cursos,seminarios,nuevas ideas de compañeros(foros, páginas web, blogs...) que hagan de nuestra materia un foco de conocimiento de salud, bienestar físico, calidad de vida... a través de los diferentes contenidos trabajados en la materia

        Nuestra asignatura nos aporta diversas formas de hacer posible el proceso de Enseñanza-Aprendizaje ya sea presencial, semi o telemática. En la actualidad están surgiendo "nuevas generaciones digitales" y no podemos quedarnos atrás, ya que las TIC han entrado con fuerza en todas las organizaciones y mi centro educativo no es una excepción.
